Broadwind Energy has demonstrated a strong commitment to reducing occupational injuries and illnesses.  Since 2007, we reduced total workplace injuries and illnesses by 57% and lost-time injuries and illnesses by 32%.

* Rates are based on 100 employees working 200,000 hours annually.
** Lost-time rate uses the OSHA calculation for days away from work cases (transfer or restricted cases are excluded).

We support your right to know about the chemicals in your community. The following Broadwind Energy facilities participate in the EPA's Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) reporting program.

Clean Air Act

We support the control and reduction of harmful air emission sources and maintain state issued operating permits to ensure compliance with EPA standards at the following Broadwind Energy facilities.

Clean Water Act

We support the conservation and protection of water resources.  We maintain storm water pollution prevention plans to minimize the impact our operations have on storm water discharges at the following Broadwind Energy facilities:

Industrial Wastes

We promote the minimization of wastes generated in our operations through reduction, reuse and recycling activities.    When we have industrial wastes that must be disposed of, we manage and dispose of those wastes in accordance with the U.S.EPA Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and applicable State and local laws and regulations.
