Broadwind processes more than 100,000 tons of steel each year. We have the production capability and reputation for reliability to execute nearly any size project. But just as important, our complex weldments are made with remarkable precision, consistent quality, and an attention to detail that exceeds expectations.
Size of steel
We are experts in welding high-tensile steel up to ten inches thick including stainless, inconel, chromoly, carbon and other pipe material to unlimited wall thickness. We can handle other steel grades and aluminum in thicknesses up to twelve inches. There’s no job too big for Broadwind.
Scale of weldments
Our core competency is welding, fitting and fabrications, including structural weldments up to 250 tons and unlimited wall thickness for pressure boundary and vessel work, with multiple joint configurations for full penetration welds. Additionally, we deliver turnkey sub-assembly and complete component solutions.

Our team of expert certified welders (AWS/ASME/API/ABS) each possesses years of experience with large and complex weldments. In addition, we have in-house Certified Welding Inspector and Level II NDT expertise with decades of UT, MT and PT know-how.
