As a member of the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA), the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) and the American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA), Broadwind Energy supports a business community that seeks to coordinate targeted education and advocacy on key issues to advance wind energy.

    AGMA has helped to set national gearing standards since 1916. The association also serves as the focal point within the United States for the development of ISO gearing standards and includes about 400 of the world's top gearing experts across more than 30 nations.
